The short version
WakeUpNow does not collect, transmit, or sell any information. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.
Information stored in the app
Your alarms, timers, stopwatch and settings are stored locally on your device. Your stop methods are stored as one-way fingerprints: the app keeps a scrambled version of a QR code's contents, an NFC tag's identifier, or a text code, not the code itself. None of this is sent to Reformed Software or anyone else.
Camera
WakeUpNow uses the camera only to read a QR code or barcode while you add one or stop an alarm. Images are processed on the device and are not saved or sent anywhere.
NFC
On iPhone, WakeUpNow reads an NFC tag's identifier when you add the tag or stop an alarm. Nothing is written to the tag.
Text codes and Shortcuts
If you set up a text code, a Shortcuts automation you create passes messages from the sender you choose to WakeUpNow on your device. The app checks the message for your code and keeps nothing else. WakeUpNow cannot read your messages on its own.
Alarms
Alarms are scheduled through Apple's AlarmKit on your device so they can ring when the app is closed.
Website
When you visit reformedsoftware.com, infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare may process standard technical information necessary to deliver and secure the website, according to their own services and policies.
Children
WakeUpNow does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
This policy may be updated as WakeUpNow changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
